Position: Intern Graphic Designer

Start Date: November 1, 2010

Located: TBD

Job Type: Internship non-paid

 

Job Description: Rooster Tail Designs is looking for a few graphic art students to work two shifts at our new studio opening in November. The shifts will be from 9:00-11:30 am, 11:30-2:00 pm, and 2:00-4:30 pm. Candidates must have experience with the Adobe Creative Suite and specifically Photoshop and Illustrator on a Mac platform. Design projects will range from logo and brochure design to illustrations and web site development. Candidates should be able to work well with deadline driven projects. There will be some limited client interaction via phone and in person. Some training will be provided and candidates may be compensated for certain projects.

 

Summary:This is a great opportunity to gain real world experience in the graphic art industry in a very creative, relaxed, and professional work environment. Interns are able to keep their design projects for their portfolios and will receive recommendations and references to future employers.
